Coach Pitch

Brayden thinks he's hot stuff now that this is his first year in Coach Pitch Baseball. He has to remind Colby about it all the time! It's amazing what a difference a year makes! He is now consistently batting and catching well. And he really understands the game and likes to play. It's fun to watch!

T-Ball

This is Colby's first year in T-Ball! He is on the Angels. He was so excited - until he had practice! I think he would rather play in the dirt! :) He does love to bat, though. And he wouldn't miss a game because of the treats! It's so fun to watch these little munchkins play!

This was taken at opening ceremonies about a month ago. You can see everyone bundled up! They can finally play without a coat on now! :) They are having fun this season!

10K

So I just wanted to do an easy run Monday night- slow and steady - because lately I've been so intent on going faster that I hadn't reached 4 miles yet. I had a 4 mile goal in mind. I reached 4 and still felt good, so why not 5? I reached 5 and geez, only another mile till 10K....So I actually ran 6.2 miles! Holy Moly! Can you believe it?

A Conversation with Colby

Colby: Why is my name Colby?
Mom: Because Mommy & Daddy chose that name when you were born.
Colby: Can we rename me?
Mom: What would you like your name to be?
Colby: Hmmmm... let me think... if my name was Cole, then I wouldn't have any nicknames. It has to be something that starts with C.
Mom: okay...
Colby: Are you thinking of something that starts with C?
Mom: Yeah...
Colby: Are there any Star Wars names that start with C?
Mom: I'm not sure...
Colby: Does Commander start with C?
Mom: Yes, do you want to be named Commander?
Colby: No, I'm still thinking...
