Go Wolf Pack!!!

This last weekend we went on a family date! I was very leary - dinner and a basketball game with my three kiddos?????
We went to downtown Reno - ate at a nice Italian restaurant. My kids were PERFECT! Had great manners and they didn't even have crayons there! My boys grabbed some tooth picks on our way out (as you can tell in the pics) and on to the UNR (University of Nevada Reno) vs. Fresno game. My kids had a Blast! Brayden and Colby loved cheering and actually kinda knew what was happening in the game. Lily was in awe of all this new stuff - so she sat quietly sucking her fingers the whole time! Wow - I couldn't believe how much fun we all had!! Oh, and Bob caught a shirt that the cheerleaders were throwing! Brayden couldn't wait to get home and wear it to bed! (Though it was 10 sizes to big!) All in all - it was a great night! :)

Daddy & Me

Bob was looking at a magazine one evening and gave Lily one ... which she proceeded to tear up! I thought it was too cute so I ran to grab the camera! And this is Lily when she realized I had the camera and she couldn't have it!

Sledding Extravaganza!

We took our kids sledding the Saturday after Christmas. The snow was so deep by Lake Tahoe that when you took a step on some that wasn't packed down yet, you'd fall in a few feet! My boys (that includes Bob!) had a blast! I was surprised at how daring they were! I didn't get a good pic of them going down the hill for two reasons - 1 - They'd slide down so fast and jump out, ready to hike up again, before I could fiddle with the camra while holding Lily - and 2 - Lily didn't like the snow that much! She basically bawled the whole time except for when Bob took her on the sled! So I took her in the car for most of the time. All that white stuff and being bundled up was not for her!! However, we still had a good time! Colby
Colby jumping off - ready for more!
Brayden waiting for the okay from Dad.

Can't you tell she was having so much fun?!

Christmas

Yippee, I am finally posting about Christmas!! We had an awesome, relaxing Christmas just with our little fam. There were many highlights so thought I'd just name a few...... My inlaws bought our fam a Wii. This is Brayden perfecting his bowling swing! When we first got the Wii, I was the bowling Queen!! - Now Bob and Brayden get strikes almost every roll! We also love boxing! Bob and I decided it's a great way to solve any marrital spats! :)

This is Lily's favorite toy! She started out throwing the baby out of the stroller and playing with the toys - and now, just weeks later, she's giving the baby kisses and pushing the stroller all around the house! It's so fun having a little girl!

Star Wars was the theme this year! My dad got Colby this HUGE Millenium Falcon and Brayden this way cool R2D2 Robot! Even Bob was in Heaven! ;)
We loved receiving everyone's Christmas cards and letters! Thanks for keeping in touch!

In Loving Memory

My beloved Grandfather passed away last week. He lived a long life of 74 years. He was an electrical engineer and could fix almost anything! I remember being out in the garage helping him fix this and that. (Or he made me believe I was a big help!) He was funny and fun to be around. Whenever I would go visit - I knew I would get to try and beat him at chess. He NEVER let me win! - And it made me keep comin' back for more. He was a strong man and believed in hard work. His yard was immaculate all through his own hand. Beautiful flowers, trees, grass - It was always a favorite place to play.

When he was diagnosed with multiple myloma cancer, his doctor gave him 6-9 months to live - but he had other plans. With his healthy concoctions, exercise, and his will to live - he surpassed all odds, living 10 1/2 years. His doctors hadn't seen a patient with this type of cancer live longer than 5. I am so grateful that I had these extra years with my Grandpa. We love and miss you deeply!
